As a structural fitter, you will safely and efficiently operate welding equipment to fit and tack weld parts onto main members per structural steel drawings.
You must have a high school diploma or GED, 6 months to 1 year of related skill or experience, along with welding methods, techniques, and equipment.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
1 year experience performing Structural welds and using welding tools Ability to operate burning, welding, and fitting equipment Ability to read blueprint drawings Ability to select rods, tips, current, pressure, etc.
